Numerous startups and companies are developing new innovative technologies continuously. Enough reason for KIJK, a popular scientific magazine that is very well-read in the Netherlands, to look for the best Dutch tech ideas of 2020. Together with readers and a professional jury, KIJK made a ranking of the best submissions. With its technological innovation Fibersort Wieland made it to the Top 10.
The annual ranking is based on reviews and elaborations of independent experts, technical universities and institutions. As from October 2020, the public was able to vote on tens of nominees. André Kesseler, editor in chief of KIJK: “We believe that science and technology can help humanity thrive. We are very impressed by all the innovations that are being launched in our country! Every year, it is a real challenge to make a ranking exploring all those technological developments, but we have succeeded.”
